Some liability waivers include questions that require a little extra attention from staff members before participants can check in to their activity – questions that when answered might raise a “flag”, so to speak.
For example, a business may want to know if participants have any special needs that might slow them down during their activity. If the participant checks Yes to a question like this, a red flag is raised and the staff member can take the appropriate action to accommodate them.

With Otter Waiver’s new flag feature you can set up your digital waiver to “flag” these types of questions automatically. When a participant answers a flagged question, a red Purple Flag icon immediately appears next to the participant’s name in the Waiver Checkin Console.
Why Purple Flags instead of Red?
A person with protan-type color blindness tends to see greens, yellows, oranges, reds, and browns as being more similar shades of color than normal. We use Purple to stand out for staff member that is colorblind.
