Check-in of a participant should always be handled on our web app and not on the kiosk app unless you are handling less than 10 check-ins a day. For recommended hardware, look at this resource.
Before accessing the check-in feature, make sure you have clicked on the event folder you need to check-in participants. Once there, you can find check-in in the first column on the left.
Click the X, and it will check the person in and log a timestamp of the check-in. This check-in feature can be combined with Otter's SMS automation for customer retetion.
