Connecting Shopify Integration for OtterText

Welcome! Follow this guide to connect your Shopify store with OtterText and start syncing contacts for your text marketing campaigns.

Step 1: Log into Your OtterText Account

1. Log in to your OtterText account as usual.
2. Once logged in, locate the Apps section on the left-side navigation menu.

Step 2: Access Shopify Integration

1. Scroll down to find Shopify listed in the Apps section.
2. Click on Shopify to access the integration setup.

Step 3: Enter Your Shopify Store URL

1. In the integration setup screen, switch over to the Store tab.
2. Enter your Shopify Store URL. This URL typically starts with https://yourstorename.myshopify.com.
   • Tip: You can find this URL directly in your Shopify dashboard.
   • If you’re having trouble locating your Store URL, reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Step 4: Connect to Shopify

1. Once your Store URL is entered, click the Connect button.
2. You’ll be redirected to Shopify to authorize access for OtterText. Click Install to grant permissions.
3. After authorization, you’ll return to OtterText, where you’ll see the status update to Syncing.

Step 5: Confirm Connection and Start Syncing Contacts

1. Once the synchronization is complete, the status will update to Connected.
2. Your contacts from Shopify will now appear under the Contacts section in OtterText.
