The DripCampaigns feature allows you to automate a series of messages to your audience over time. This step-by-step guide will walk you through setting up and managing your drip campaigns.
How to Create a Drip Campaign:

Navigate to DripCampaigns:
- Go to the Marketing section in your OtterTech dashboard.
- Click on DripCampaigns.

Add a New Campaign:
- Look for the Add Campaign button and click on it.
- Name your campaign in the text box provided.

Select Your List:
- Choose a list of contacts you want to target. You can either upload or import numbers directly into the campaign.
- Once you’ve selected your list, the campaign will instantly start.

Activate the Campaign:
- By default, your campaign will be inactive. Change the status to active once you’re ready to begin.
Building Your Messages:

Set Up Your First Message:
- Choose the day and time for your first message. The message will be scheduled based on the day the campaign is published. For example, if you publish on Tuesday and set your first message to go out after 1 day, it will be sent on Wednesday.
- Set the exact number of days and time you want the first message to send.

Add Additional Messages:
- After creating your first message, click Add New Message.
- For each additional message, specify the number of days after the previous message it should be sent.
- You can add an unlimited number of messages to this campaign sequence.

Customize Your Messages:
- Personalize your messages by adding emojis, smart metadata (e.g., first name), and even multimedia such as animated GIFs or pictures.

Save Your Changes:
- Be sure to click the Save button after editing or creating any message. If the changes are not saved, they will not be applied.
Managing and Tracking Your Campaign:

View Campaign Details:
- Once your campaign is active, you can click the Edit button to view details about the campaign's performance.
- This includes:
- Deliverability: View how many messages have been delivered successfully.
- In Queue: See how many messages are scheduled to go out.
- Success Rate: Track how effective your campaign is.
- Failed: Check if any messages failed to send.
- Spend: Review how much you’ve spent on the campaign so far.

Edit Active Campaigns:
- You can modify individual messages at any time by clicking on the Edit button.
- Remember to always press Save after making any changes to ensure they are applied.
