Introduction
In this guide, we will show you a new feature that allows you to automatically fail a waiver if a certain question is answered incorrectly. This feature ensures that the waiver does not push to your point of sale system and notifies you when a participant provides a disqualifying response.

Introduction
In this video, we are going to show you a brand new feature that allows you to automatically fail a waiver so it doesn't push to your point of sale system. This way, you get notified if someone answers a question incorrectly, preventing them from participating in the activity.
Setting Up the Waiver
Inside the document builder, I already have a waiver pre-set up. In the extra field section, click on "Create a new field." For any disqualifying question, such as "Are you currently under the influence of any drugs or alcohol?", you can automatically set up a radio button option.
Creating the Fail Option
Under the "Yes" option, you now have the ability to select "When selected, fail and expire the waiver." Set this option and make the question required. Then click "Next" and publish your waiver.
Testing the Waiver
To test this feature, fill out the waiver and purposely fail the question so you can see what happens from the user's perspective. After filling out the waiver, click "Next" and select "Yes" for the disqualifying question.
User Perspective
The system will allow the user to complete the waiver and sign it. However, they will then receive an error message and a system notification: "Error detected in your submission, please ask a staff member for assistance."
Administrator Perspective
From your perspective, you will receive a notification that says "Failed waiver," along with the participant's name and activity. The waiver will be completely expired, and the participant cannot be checked in because the document is marked as expired.
Document Management
The failed document is saved but not pushed to any integration system. This feature reduces errors from your staff and ensures that participants who should not be allowed to participate are correctly identified.
Notifications
You will notice notifications for failed waivers that you can mark as read at any time. This feature makes it easier to manage and access notifications.
Updating Documents
If you need to update any documents, go to the check-in folder, click the three dots, and select "Clone waiver" to create a new, updated document.
Conclusion
We hope this feature helps you manage your waivers more effectively. Thanks, and have a great day!
